Beyonce‘s trainer and Stacy Keibler are revealing what it takes to get a star body, with all the details. And when it comes to staying slim, it all starts with a healthy diet, Beyonce’s trainer and nutrition guru Marco Borges told “E News” on Jan. 30.
Borges is an exercise physiologist and the founder of 22 Days Nutrition. And he says it’s all about a plant-based diet when it comes to results. That means eating your greens. As for the popular juice cleanse?
“Sure, green juice is popular right now but there’s no better (or cheaper) way to enjoy the bountiful health benefits of greens than to eat them!” advises Marco. Moreover, the fiber helps your digestive system, or as Borges says: “And you might enjoy the, er, regularity that green veggies’ fiber will give you, too.”
A vegan diet is ideal, but he admits it does take planning. “One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to eat a plant-based diet. You might not have an assistant to help coordinate your meals but you don’t really need one if you take the time to plan ahead,” says Marco.
As for Stacy Keilber, that toned tummy just a few months after having a baby reflects her care all during her pregnancy, she told Us Weekly on Jan. 30. Rather than use pregnancy as an excuse for indulging, Stacy says it’s time to focus on healthy nutrition.
“I really truly believe that pregnancy is not a time to have an excuse to eat donuts,†said the new mom. A model and former pro wrestler, Stacy and her husband Jason Pobre named their first daughter Ava Grace.
In addition to diet, Keilber believes exercise is essential. “[Pregnancy] is a time to be as healthy as you can be and build the foundation for your baby. I think that you should be even more conscious of what you’re doing,” she advised.
