Crunch, the wild and wacky chain of health clubs known for its no attitude, no judgments, and fun fitness classes is launching a nationwide campaign to shape up kids. The program is called Sweat School and it’s making its debut at Crunch Burbank on May 16, 2015. According to a spokesperson for the chain, the classes are designed to help parents put t their children in motion and motivate them toward a healthier lifestyle. Moms and dads can bring the family to enjoy some healthful quality time together working out. It’s a fantastic idea in this day and age when many youngsters are sedentary and overweight.
Crunch will feature a special class a month focused on one of three ways to get fit. Kids will play, dance or stretch it out with our top instructors, sending them on the road to life-long fitness. There will be two sessions each month, one for kids ages 8-10 and one for kids ages 11-13. Meanwhile the folks can use the gym equipment, take a steam or sauna or a session with a personal trainer and even hook up with the free WiFi while the kids work out with one of Crunch’s top group fitness instructors.
Children will love Crunch for its fun attitude and ambient NO Judgments environment. The programs will be tailored to children yet will highlight many of the entertaining aspects of Crunch’s signature class offerings.
Sweat School is being offered nationally at different locations around the country. Additional classes at Crunch Burbank, 761 N San Fernando Blvd, (818) 336-9300, will also be on June 13 and July 11 from 2 p.m. for eight to 10-year-olds and 3 p.m. for 11 to 13 year olds.
